James Gunn announced that the master plan for the new DC has been finalized.

Unfortunately, that also means that Henry Cavill is officially out as Superman in this new era.

Gunn took to Twitter and announced the plan has been finished but also that he is working on a young Superman film set in his early days as a reporter. This means, Cavill would not be returning to the role.

Cavill confirmed the news on his Instagram page.
