BRANDY

Hellur, how yer doing?  That was my Madea impression.  Nailed it, right?  Anyway, I am NOT Madea, but I’m Brandy.  Ya know, that loud person saying weird things on the radio during your morning drive.  I like to consider myself the “O.G.” of Q101.  Originally from Virginia Beach, I moved to the valley about eight years ago and have been with Q101 ever since.  I enjoy reading, writing, listening to music… basically all the things you say you like doing in your online dating profile.  Oh, and speaking of dating…my love life is pretty non-existent, so I’m thinking of taking the plunge and buying my very first cat.  When I’m not at work, you can find me playing music at a local bar for open mic night (I play guitar), binge watching whatever television show I’m currently obsessed with on Hulu or Netflix, or enjoying the massage chairs at Planet Fitness more than I probably should (remember, I’m single).  I’m also an Aquarius, 5’ 5”, and wish that Adele and Sara Bareilles would make a baby together and grace my ears with the sounds of, what I can assume would only be comparable to, Heaven.  You can find me on Facebook, Instagram, Eharmony, and Farmers Only.

ROBBIE

Hey guys, I’m Robbie – AKA Big Red, AKA DJ Robbie V, AKA Robbie. I am originally from the 757 – home to some of the greats in music (Pharrell, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, etc.). I grew up loving entertainment and pursued acting for a short stint in NYC where I rubbed shoulders with Kevin Bacon and Jamie Fox before coming home to pursue my radio career. I love emceeing and have had the privilege of traveling the world emceeing CrossFit events. My wife is definitely my better half and despite an allergy to cats, she convinced me to adopt our cat Lucy right before the pandemic. I am a New York Giants and New York Yankees fan, which have given me the perfect combination of victory and agony. When I’m not on the radio, you can find me at a local coffee shop, enjoying a nice glass of wine or cider with my wife, and some delicious food. I am looking forward to making my home in the Valley.
