Tim Burton’s “Wednesday” Trailer Brings Murder, Mayhem & Addams Family Fun

Wednesday Addams is back in Netflix’s first trailer for the Tim Burton directed Addams Family series based on the character.

The two-minute trailer for Wednesday, sees Jenna Ortega as the title character attempting to adjust to her new school, Nevermore – the very same one her parents went to – after a bullying incident with her brother, Pugsley prompted Wednesday to handle the water polo team in a very Addams way.

This is a very Tim Burton trailer. Even from the happy bright opening it gives off the Burton feels with it quickly combining the unique look of Wednesday in this very normal school. Then things take that gory, twisty, dark, fun Burton turn and hints at a show that might be one of this years best Halloween season options.
