“The Suicide Squad” Drops First R-Rated Trailer

The first trailer for The Suicide Squad is here and the bad guys are back.

The R-rated project sees filmmaker James Gunn, know for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy films, delving into the world of DC for the first time.

This new film includes a few castmembers from David Ayers 2016 Suicide Squad, including Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg) and Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang).

While introducing a wide range of newcomers, such as Sylvester Stallone, Michael Rooker, Flula Borg, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Idris Elba, Mayling Ng, Sean Gunn, Pete Davidson, Nathan Fillion, John Cena and many more.

Holy Cow! I’m just going to say it now and this isn’t the wrestling fan in me but John Cena looks like he is ready to steal the show in this film. James Gunn once again might have transitioned a former wrestler into a Hollywood Star like he did with Bautista.

The Suicide Squad opens in theaters and on HBO Max on August 6th.
