“The Flash” Trailer Gives us More Batman & Supergirl

CinemaCon is underway in Las Vegas and Warner Bros. dropped a surprise for DC fans by releasing a new trailer for their upcoming “The Flash” film.

WATCH THE TRAILER:

Not only are we getting two versions of the Flash, but we get more of our two Batmen in this film, and a little more of Supergirl.

It’s crazy to think this film is actually coming out. Even if you put all the Ezra Miller stuff aside it just never seemed like this film would see the light of day. Constantly getting pushed back, a change of leadership and future direction of the DC films at Warner Bros and so much more made it seem like this day would never come. Yet, the hype for this film has been nothing but praise. It even seems like Ezra could be back for future DC films if the character fits (which I expect after this film makes money guarantees their return).

The official synopsis reads:

Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

“The Flash” hits theaters on June 16, 2023.
