“South Park” Renewed Through Season 30 Along With 14 Movies at Paramount Plus

South Park is still going strong and now creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have set an expansive new deal with ViacomCBS’ MTV Entertainment Studios that will see them produce 14 movies for Paramount Plus.

The deal also renews South Park the series at Comedy Central through its 30th season in 2027.

‘South Park’ Pair Set New Deal with MTV Entertainment Group – Variety

I love South Park and am really excited about this new deal. It is nice knowing Trey and Matt have locked down the show for more seasons but I’m even more intrigued by the 14 film part of this deal. Is this going to be more specials like we have gotten the past few years? Is this actual features like the original South Park movie? Either way this is a good grab for Paramount Plus in the ongoing streaming wars.
