Now onto the nominations themselves because I have to say I was kind of shocked to see Bradley Cooper was left off in Best Director and I have been pulling for Toni Collette to get recognization in Best Actress since I saw “Hereditary” when it hit theaters back in June. Other than those two snubs in my eyes this seems to have hit every prediction on the head. We all knew Disney was all in getting “Black Panther” in the Best Film category and it worked but it’s going to be hard to get the votes with “Green Book” winning practically every award along the way. Then again crazier things have happened just a couple years ago when we all assumed “La La Land” was a lock and then we had the whole controversy to end the show. So nothing is guaranteed on the night of the Academy Awards.

You can watch the show live on February 24th when it airs on ABC without a host.

Are you shocked by any nominations? Did you think someone was snubbed and if so who? Let us know in the comments below.
