New “The Munsters” Movie Coming From Director Rob Zombie

There had been rumors for a while that Rob Zombie would be directing a new version of The Munsters, and the musician/director has confirmed the news.

On his Instagram, Zombie confirmed how his next project would be this new take on the classic sitcom. He also mentioned how he’s been chasing this film for 20 years. And that makes sense. He is a well known hardcore fan of The Munsters. Not to mention his song, “Dragula” is in reference to their car and is featured in the music video.

Rob Zombie Set to Direct ‘The Munsters’ Reboot – Variety

I’m really interested in this. I am a fan of Rob Zombie’s music as well as his movies. I am curious if he reels it back & keeps it simple like the classic show or does he give it his own take like he did with his polarizing take on the Halloween franchise.
