“Mulan” will Premiere on Disney Plus this September

Disney’s live-action “Mulan” remake was set to be a huge summer blockbuster. But has had to shift its release date multiple times thanks to the Corona Virus.

Well, the mouse house just flexed its streaming powers and announced the film will premier on Disney Plus next month on a “premiere access” basis September 4th for $29.99.

I get what Disney is doing. In these weird times this has become a new sense of normal with at home releases for a bigger price. I also think this is great for families since a theater experience will cost well over $29.99. But I also feel this is a money grab after we learned how much Disney lost since March and like other VOD films released it leaves a certain audience in the dark.
