Kevin Bacon Has Joined “The Toxic Avenger” as the Villain

Legend Kevin Bacon has officially joined the remake of The Toxic Avengerand will portray a villain opposite Peter Dinklage.

Dinlage is slated to star as the film’s title character.

The reboot of the 1984 low-budget superhero comedy follows Melvin Ferd, a mop boy who gets pushed in a vat of toxic waste which transforms him into the Toxic Avenger.

When I first heard about this reboot I kind of shrugged my shoulders. While I remember watching The Toxic Avenger films on WPIX growing up on Long Island, I also didn’t really have a strong desire to see this character return. But once Peter Dinklage was announced it got my attention & with the addition of Kevin Bacon I am fully aware of this film.
