“It Chapter Two” Trailer Will Terrify You

Finally! The It Chapter 2 trailer is officially here and it is terrifying. The Losers’ Club returns home 27 years later, all grown up, but their childhood fears are still waiting for them back in Derry, Maine. Pennywise is back and ready to feast again. Check out the trailer below.

That trailer reminds me a lot of the first film in its relentlessness. Pennywise looks terrifying as always but if you know some of the books lore certain moments really stand out. Can we also talk about that funhouse sequence? How about seeing the kids return? Jaeden Martell, Wyatt Oleff, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard (coolest name in Hollywood), Jeremy Ray Taylor, Chosen Jacobs and Jack Dylan Grazer where a big part of what made It work so well.

This time around, It Chapter Two will try to capture the magic of that young cast with a talented group of adult actors. Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader (YES! Watch Barry if you doubt he’ll be amazing), Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone and Andy Bean lead the cast. But don’t worry because as we saw the kids will be back also to take down Pennywise the Clown.

Andy Muschietti is back as director. It Chapter 2 dances into theaters September 6, 2019.
