“Happy Death Day 3” Won’t Happen

Let’s file this news in the category of upsetting. Word hit the internet that the development phase had begun on Happy Death Day 3, but in reality that wasn’t the case. It was director Christopher Landon who shot down the news on his twitter.

I’m really disappointed in this news. Like the articles from /film says, I have become a big fan of this franchise. I remember taking a risk and seeing the first one in theaters on Halloween and walking out completely in love. The sequel Happy Death Day2U I enjoyed also and loved how bonkers the film went. Plus that lead into what the third film could have been with the mid credits scene really got me excited. But it appears we might never see that crazy dream come to life.
