For the First Time Since 1989, The Oscars Won’t Have a Host

The will he or won’t he game has officially ended and it appears Kevin Hart, is not hosting the 91st Academy Awards which has prompted the Academy to forge forward without a host.

Reports are indicating that the show producers are going to look to round up whatever A-list actors they can arrange to participate throughout the night in skits and play up music in film, thanks to likely nominees Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar.

This is going to be an interesting show for sure. This is the biggest night for Hollywood and having no one to direct the ship could lead to some interesting and maybe cringe worthy moments. If you want an idea of where the show could go then give a search for the opening 11 minutes of the last time they went without a host. Let’s just say Rob Lowe ends up dancing with Snow White at one point.

You can check out more regarding the 2019 Academy Awards in the article below.

Are you more inclined to tune in without a host or does this make you care less about the Academy Awards?

The 91st Academy Awards will be broadcast live on February 24, 2019 from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
