Not all Halloween-themed movies have to be terrifying.

If you want to celebrate Halloween without giving yourself a heart attack, there are plenty of spooky movies that are light on the actual horror. Here is a list of 5 perfect films for your Halloween viewing:

1. “Ghostbusters” If its the original or the 2016 reboot…Enjoy!

2. “Hocus Pocus” This is one of the ultimate in non horror scary movies. A Disney must see for anyone looking for some Halloween fun without all the scares of the more intense witch films.

3. “Beetlejuice” He’s the ghost with the most for a reason. This Tim Burton classic is essential viewing for any Halloween season.

4. Little Shop of Horrors” This classic still holds up and is filled with lots of fun. Rick Moranis, Steve Martin, Frank Oz directing, singing and a man eating plant. If you’ve never seen this gem then give it a watch.

5. Scooby-Doo” The 2002 Live-Action one is really a delight even after all these years. It’s a fun time and Matthew Lillard as Shaggy is just perfect casting.
