D23: Disney Announces The Latest Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar and More Upcoming Projects

Disney’s massive D23 Expo went down this weekend in Anaheim, and there were a ton of announcements, trailer debuts, and special guests.

One of the highlights was Harrison Ford, who showed up to hype the fifth “Indiana Jones” movie and he got emotional while introducing the trailer to the crowd. That trailer played behind closed doors and hasn’t been released to the public yet.

Some things we did get to see from the weekend includes a teaser for “The Little Mermaid” which showcases our new Ariel, Halley Bailey.

And on the TV side of things we got trailers for “The Santa Clauses”, “Percy Jackson & the Olympians”, “Willow”, “National Treasure: Edge of History”, “Tales of the Jedi” and Marvel’s “Werewolf by Night” and “Secret Invasion”.

They also announced plenty of big names joining upcoming projects as well as showing footage from some of their upcoming movies. You can read more about everything else they showcased below.

What are you most excited for? I know personally I’m a little bummed that just like at Comic Con Marvel showcased the “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” again but behind closed doors. So we still have to wait for our first look at the upcoming film that brings back Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly while also folding in Jonathan Majors and will give us our Bill Murray MCU debut. But out of everything we saw I think “Werewolf by Night” has me most excited. That trailer sold it like an old Universal Monster film & that is a vibe I am always excited to see as a horror fan.
