Beetlejuice 2 is Finally Official and Hitting Theaters Fall of 2024!

We didn’t even need to say his name three times, Beetlejuice 2 is coming to theaters next year!

Warner Bros. announced that September 6, 2024, is when the ghost with the most will be returning to theaters.

We don’t have a lot of information about the follow-up to Tim Burton’s classic from 1988. What we do know so far is that Burton is returning, Danny Elfman is returning in some way for music, Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice and “Wednesday” star Jenna Ortega as the daughter of Winona Ryder character. Speaking of Ryder there is no word on her returning…yet. You have to imagine with everyone else back and this being a true sequel to the original that she is soon to follow.

We also learned that Justin Theroux is in a yet-to-be-announced role for the film which is expected to begin production today.

‘Beetlejuice 2’ Sets 2024 Release Date – Variety

This is huge to me! Beetlejuice is one of the films I grew up on. I watched it so many times that my parents and brothers could quote the film and got myself in trouble as a kid repeating a certain line from the cemetery scene. Beetlejuice also has been such a force since its debut in the late 80s that it spawned an animated series (which I loved) and a Broadway adaptation (Which I saw and was wonderful).
