William Breckenridge “Breck” Johnson, 78, a resident of Rockingham, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Johnson was born on June 26, 1946 in Charlottesville, VA and was a son of the late William Rexford and Betty Hane Atkins Johnson. He served in the United States Army. He worked as the golf course manager at Luray Country Caverns Country Club for many years. His grandchildren, grand dogs, and cats were the loves of his life.

Surviving are his daughters, Susan Johnson and fiancé Mike Natale of North Chesterfield, and Emily Lam and husband J.T. of Linville; and three grandchildren, Kasey Natale, Wyatt Lam, Lilly Lam.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Dodson; and brother, David Johnson.

Following cremation, there will be no services at his request.
