AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A fire Saturday night in Augusta County destroyed a horse barn.

Fortunately, all of the horses at Garland Quarter Horses & Paints in the Lyndhurst area were able to make it out alive. However, the barn was destroyed and a GoFundMe page has been set up as well as drop off locations for supplies.

Monetary donations can be made on the Garland Quarter Horses GoFundMe page. So far, over $3,350 has been raised and that will go towards rebuilding what was lost.

Also, there are drop off locations at both Staunton and Rockbridge Tractor Supply stores for halters, horse blankets, grain and hay.
