HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Virginia State Police are hosting a free motorcycle self-assessment course.
The event will be this Saturday, July 20, from 8:30 to 1 and riders can ride, learn, and practice rider safety through the S.I.P.D.E process which stands for Scan, Identify, Predict, Decide, Execute.
Riders will learn how to handle hazards, special situations, interstate highways, curve negotiation and more.
Virginia State Police are hosting the free event at James Madison University.
