AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The three men accused of defrauding Zachary Cruz – the brother of the Parkland, Fl. school shooter Nikolas Cruz – will have to wait a little longer before going to trial.

According to online records, the trials of Michael Donovan and Richard Moore, both of Fishersville, and Timothy Shipe of Staunton, have been moved from the first week of December to the first week of March of next year.

The change was made during a status hearing this week. Moore has a federal trial that is scheduled for early December.

He and Donovan face four felony charges each while Shipe has two felony counts against him.

Prosecutors Zachary Cruz as the victim in the case, who inherited over $400,000 dollars in life insurance following the death of his mother.

Before the trial, all three will have an arraignment hearing on February 7.
