Grand jury date set for McGaheysville woman accused of embezzlement

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Rockingham County woman who is accused of embezzling money from the Parent Teacher Association at Cub Run Elementary School will appear before a grand jury later this month.

According to online records, the grand jury hearing for Elizabeth Nicole Taylor of McGaheysville is set for June 17 in Rockingham County Circuit Court.

She is facing one count of embezzling more than a thousand dollars from the Cub Run PTA while serving as the association’s treasurer in 2022.

Taylor was arrested on November 6 of last year. In the meantime, she remains free on bond.
