ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Shenandoah National Park will be waiving fees on Sunday thanks to the Great American Outdoors Act.

The GAOA has funded over $6 billion in maintenance and repair projects in four years, and to celebrate that anniversary they’re waiving entrance fees to all National Parks.

Here in the Valley, the GAOA has helped refurbish the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive.

The park will be hosting a number of events on Sunday, including Night Sky Festival and the Matthews Arm Star Party.
