ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The man Page County authorities say was responsible for a homicide in Elkton more than a year ago was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.

Timothy Thomas Comer was supposed to have a hearing to appoint council; however online records showed that the hearing was continued until Oct. 30 in Page County Circuit Court.

Comer faces seven felony charges, including first-degree murder, in connection with the shooting death of Gregory Lee Williams, 69, in the Jollet Road area on June 29 of last year.

He was arrested on July 13th after a two-week manhunt involving local, state and federal authorities.
