ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The business director of a Rockingham County assisted living facility who was arrested earlier this month was supposed to appear in court on Monday.

However, both sides agreed to continue the hearing for Michele Buckner until Nov. 13 in General District Court.

Buckner, 64, was arrested on Sept. 5 after deputies with the sheriff’s officer executed a search warrant at Willow Estates Assisted Living Facility in Penn Laird.

She faces a felony charge of neglect causing injury and is currently free on bond.
