HARRISONBURG, VA (Harrisonburg City Public Schools) — Harrisonburg City Public Schools will continue to serve meals at no charge to children 18 and under this summer at both school sites and via Mobile Café routes.
In a press release, Heather Yutzy, Director of School Nutrition said meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability or age, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided, on a first come, first serve basis as described below.
If a child will be joining HCPS for summer programming, they will be served breakfast and lunch as part of their school day.
If a child is not attending summer programming, you may come to any school location during the times below to receive a meal.
