Harrisonburg announces paving work on Stone Spring Road



HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – The City of Harrisonburg’s Public Works Department has announced upcoming paving work along a section of Stone Spring Road.

Work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, June 3, and continue through Thursday, June 11. Crews will operate Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the stretch between the Interstate 81 bridge and the city limits.

Officials say lane closures will be necessary during paving operations. While the road will remain open to through traffic, motorists should expect delays and plan travel accordingly.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
