Douglas Wade Dunivan


Douglas Wade Dunivan, 66, of Elkton, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 at his home. Doug was born September 24, 1957 in Charlottesville, VA and was the son of the late Helen Eppard Dunivan and Donald and Janice Dunivan.

 

On April 2, 1982, he married Lisa Shifflett Dunivan who preceded him in death on November 7, 2023. In addition to his parents and wife, Doug was preceded in death by a step sister, Tammy Breeden.

 

Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry and drawing. He loved spending time with his family and his grandbabies. Doug will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Doug is survived by his daughters, Mindy Warble and husband Joey, Nicky Lam and husband Coty; grandchildren, Amber Warble and husband Kyie Jones, Jordan Warble, Peyton Warble, Ember Lam; great-grandchildren, Kaden Warble, Cordae Chambers; half-sisters, Jan Walton, Donna Wood; step-siblings, Dana Barnes, Leisa Hall, Jeff Roach; numerous aunts, uncles and extended family.

 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jillian, Jessica, Daisy, and Kimberly with Sentara Hospice, Golden Years Caregiving and his at home care providers, April, Beth, Lynn, Raquel, Rezlin, Sierra, and Tiffany for their care and compassion.

 

The family will receive friends Monday evening June 17, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 10 a.m., at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton with Brother Gary Walker and Fuzzy Cardin officiating. Burial will follow at Hensley Family Cemetery in Elkton.
