HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Central Shenandoah Health District, along with their local healthcare partners, will be conducting a Rapid Community Assessment over the next month.

A Rapid Community Assessment is a survey that collects data from a community. That data is then used to influence programs that are created based on healthcare needs in the area.

The goal is to identify the healthcare needs in areas that face barriers when accessing care, as well as to build the relationship between the local health district and local health providers with rural populations.

The online survey is available in both English and Spanish on the health department’s website.
