The Bridgewater Reds won game five of their semifinal series at Clover Hill on Wednesday night, 9-4, to advance to the Rockingham County Baseball League Championship Series.
The Reds were down 2-1 in the series before winning the final two games and taking down the two-time defending RCBL champions. This is the fifth consecutive trip to the County League Championship Series.
Bridgewater, the No. 4 seed, will start the final best-of-seven series on Saturday against either No. 2 Massanutten or No. 3 Grottoes.
The Mountaineers and Cardinals are tied 2-2 in their best-of-five semifinal series, and they’ll play the fifth and deciding game Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. from Monger Park.
