WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (BC Athletics) – The Bridgewater College men’s soccer team earned a road trip victory over Lycoming to remain unbeaten Sunday afternoon.

How it Happened
• Bridgewater created the first opportunity less than a minute into the match, with Riley Queen forcing a save from Lycoming goalkeeper Bennett. In the 19th minute, Queen scored off an assist from Trey Widrick, giving the Eagles a 1-0 lead.
• Lycoming applied pressure later in the first half, but goalkeeper Zane Kowalski kept the Warriors off the board, making three saves, including two in the final six minutes of the half. Bridgewater led 1-0 at halftime.The Eagles quickly added to their lead after halftime. Esteban Guarin forced a save in the 48th minute and then assisted Widrick just seconds later for Bridgewater’s second goal, extending the lead to 2-0.
• Lycoming narrowed the deficit in the 86th minute when Sweeney scored for the Warriors, assisted by Hussman. However, it was not enough as the Eagles held on to secure the 2-1 victory.

• Widrick led the Bridgewater offense with one goal and one assist, totaling three points. His goal came in the 48th minute, marking his third of the season.
• Sweeney scored the lone goal for Lycoming in the 86th minute, assisted by Hussman.
• Bridgewater outshot Lycoming 13-12, putting six shots on goal. The Eagles also registered three corner kicks and six saves.
