BREAKING: Landon found guilty of first degree murder of Strasburg woman

SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A Florida woman has been found guilty of murdering an elderly Strasburg woman last year.

A five-day trial for Cristina Sanchez Landon, of Panama City, wrapped up today in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

Landon, 57, has been convicted of first-degree murder. She was arrested on July 11, 2023, eight days after Patricia Walker, 72, was found dead inside her home.

The two reportedly knew each other through family connections.

According to online records, Landon’s sentencing date is set for Feb. 24, of next year.
