AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — UPDATE: The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office has reported that Shanice Davison has been arrested on three counts of felony abduction. The Alabama Highway Patrol and US Marshall Service took Davison into custody in the Birmingham area of Alabama after a brief pursuit on I-495. Davison was taken into custody without incident. All three children were safe and unharmed.
The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday morning that they received a call at 8:27am about a kidnapping that had taken place at Bobby’s Way Apartment complex in Fishersville. The caller said their three children were waiting for the bus, when a black 4- Door vehicle pulled up to the bus stop and took the children.
Virginia State police believe the children may have been kidnapped by their biological mother, 35-year-old Shanice Chante Davison.
