The driver of a Warren County school bus will pay a fine for causing a crash last fall on Interstate 81 in northern Rockingham County.

Online records showed that Jennifer Lowe of Markham pleaded guilty to improper driving during a hearing this morning in the general district court. She was then fined 250 dollars plus court costs.

The 48-year-old Lowe had been charged with reckless driving after Virginia State Police said she rear-ended a highway truck in a work zone at around mile marker 261 on September 21st.

Three people suffered minor injuries, including a worker who was setting up cones for a lane closure that evening.

The accident happened after a high school sporting event and Rockingham County Schools bus driver Sarah Moyers transported the rest of the Warren County athletes back to Front Royal.
