HARRISONBURG, Va. –  With the U.S. gaining 428,000 jobs in April, the same as the previous month, WalletHub today released updated rankings for the States Whose Unemployment Rates Are Bouncing Back Most.

Virginia and West Virginia find themselves side-by-side in the upper half of the pack on the list WalletHub has been keeping for the last year or so.

The Commonwealth is ranked 16th in the latest report while West Virginia is 17th.

Utah tops the list and it’s Washington DC where employment has bounced back the most slowly from the pandemic.
