HARRISONBURG, Va. – A magazine geared toward hikers and backpackers is hosting a free “gear and skills” clinic this week at Walkabout Outfitters in downtown Harrisonburg.
In a post on its social media, the outdoor gear store announced that Randy Propster, an outdoors expert with Backpacker Magazine, will be on-site at 7 o’clock this Wednesday evening to conduct the free exhibition.
The store advises anyone interested in attending to bring a camp chair along with them. They add that prize and gear giveaways will also happen during the event.
