Another delay in the case of an Edinburg man accused of killing a former Shenandoah County Board of Supervisor.

Online records indicate that a hearing yesterday for 57-year-old David Brian Knott was continued until June 15th in Shenandoah County Circuit Court. It is the seventh time the case has been delayed.

Knott is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of 63-year-old Cynthia Dellinger at her home on January 26, 2019.

Virginia State Police had to investigate the case because Dellinger is the mother of a sheriff’s office employee.
