STAUNTON, Va. — Staunton city officials are asking residents for input about how it can revitalize a forgotten part of the community.

In a release last week, the city announced that a planning process to redevelop the once-thriving Uniontown section of the city is moving into the public comment phase.

Residents are encouraged to provide their ideas for how officials can, in their words, “spur reinvestment”, “re-establish physical connections,” and among other things, “preserve Uniontown’s history.”

A survey where folks can submit their ideas to city planners is available here.
