BRIDGEWATER, Va. – A Bridgewater staple is closing.
In an announcement on social media, the owners of Sergio’s said that they are retiring and plan to close January 15th. The pizza joint has been open since 1984.
The owners noted that the Town of Bridgewater recently offered to purchase their building to put a pharmacy and medical office in it. Feeling that would benefit the town, they have agreed to sell.
They thanked the public for supporting them for the past 37 ½ years and hope that when you think of Sergio’s Pizza, it will bring a smile to your face.
