Harrisonburg Police Department Investigates Breaking and Entering

HARRISONBURG, Va – The Harrisonburg Police Department is investigating several reports of breaking and entering and vandalism at 25 Maryland Avenue, which was formerly occupied by the Harrisonburg Church of Christ.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, the church has been entered multiples times starting on August 28th and each time the property has been vandalized or had something taken.

H-P-D is requesting assistance from the public in identifying a person of interest.  Security cameras captured an unknown white man with long brown hair pulled into a ponytail wearing a black ball cap, black long-sleeve shirt, khaki shorts and black sandals. He also appears to have a tattoo on his left calf.
