Harrisonburg Lyft driver charged in shooting

Harrisonburg, Va. – A Lyft driver is under arrest, after allegedly shooting a gun to end a dispute over a parking spot.

About 12:30 Sunday morning, officers with the Harrisonburg Police Department were called to the 1400 block of Devon Lane.

Officers determined there was an altercation between a Lyft driver and some residents over a parking spot. The Lyft driver reportedly pepper sprayed a resident and then when a witness attempted to intervene, police say the Lyft driver fired a pistol.

Twenty-one year old Ryan Liskey of Harrisonburg was arrested and is facing three charges.

No one was seriously injured in the incident.
