FISHERSVILLE, Va. –  It has been another long week for the folks at Augusta Health.

The hospital’s John Mack says as they continue to see a large number of cases, they have not stopped vaccinating people.  Augusta Health recently surpassed 110-thousand total doses of vaccine administered and he says they’ll continue to offer the vaccine in an effort to end the pandemic.

Mack says Augusta Health is working to pivot its clinical COVID focus to aggressive outpatient management.  In addition to the significant vaccination efforts, the hospital is treating infected patients who meet criteria with antibody infusions as supplies are available.
