WQPO “Shenandoah County Fair Ticket Giveaway” Contest

– Listen weekdays during the contest window between 6:00am and 7:00pm for the Cue to call to win a pair of tickets to a specific event at the Shenandoah County Fair 2023. Caller 10 at (540) 434-4144 after the cue will win.
– Contest window is Thursday, August 17th at 6am through Friday, August 25th at 7pm.
– The schedule for giveaways will be as follows:
• Thursday, August 17th: Pair of Tractor Pull tickets valued at $32 ($16 per ticket)
• Friday, August 18: Pair of Monday Night Figure 8 Race Tickets valued at $42 ($21 per ticket)
• Monday, August 21: Pair of Monday Night Figure 8 Race Tickets valued at $42 ($21 per ticket)
• Tuesday, August 22: Pair of Tuesday Night Demo Derby Tickets valued at $42 ($21 per ticket)
• Wednesday, August 23: Pair of Tuesday Night Demo Derby Tickets valued at $42 ($21 per ticket)
• Thursday, August 24: Pair of Gate Admission tickets valued at $14 ($7 per ticket)
•Friday, August 25: Pair of Gate Admission tickets valued at $14 ($7 per ticket)

-The Shenandoah County Fair is scheduled for August 27th through September 2, 2023. WQPO is not responsible if the event gets postponed or cancelled.
-Winners must follow all Covid-19 guidelines put in place by the venue.
– Prize must be picked up at the WQPO studio at 1820 Heritage Center Way, Harrisonburg, VA 22801 during business hours 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Prize will be available within 24 hours of winning.

-You may win this contest only once. WQPO reserves the right to disqualify any entry/caller at its sole discretion. No purchase is necessary to win. Prize is not transferrable nor redeemable for cash. WQPO’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize and will have no liability if the winner cannot, or chooses, not to collect the prize.

-Employees of WQPO, Harrisonburg Radio Group, Tidewater Communications LLC,
and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a 100-mile radius of the WQPO main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

-This WSVA contest is open to all eligible Central Virginia residents 18 or older who have not won anything from WQPO or any other Harrisonburg Radio Group station in the past 30 days, or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past six months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. All winners are responsible for any applicable State, Local, Federal Taxes.
