Community Care and Learning Center: Community Care

and Learning Center opened in June. It’s the only state licensed full-day child care center in New Market. Grant funds and donations provide tuition assistance to insure working families have access to affordable, quality child care and preschool education. They offer full-day care

Choices: Choices, Council on Domestic Violence for Page Co., Inc. provides shelter and advocacy services to victims of domestic and/or sexual violence, and their children.  As space allows, shelter and services are also provided for homeless women and children.  Choices provides education and outreach to students and the community in the hopes of reducing interpersonal violence and sexual assault.  Choices has an array of services offered to victims, with the goal that each person or family entering our program will reach self-sufficiency and live free from violence https://choicesofpagecounty.org/

WQPO Callers must listen between the hours of 6a-7p weekdays for the cue to call. Designated caller number will be the winner. Winner(s) will receive a $15.00 gift card from Green Valley Book Fair. There will be one winner chosen each weekday from August 19th through August 30th. Can only win once per contest.

Must be 18 years of age to participate. WQPO contests are open to all eligible listeners 18 or older that have not won anything on any of the Harrisonburg Radio Group radio stations in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WQPO, Harrisonburg Radio Group, Tidewater Communications, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WQPO main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
