Heavy rain overnight has led to water evacuations and more road closures today.  An additional one and a half inches of rain fell overnight on top of over two inches of rain Saturday.  Primary roads including a section of Route 42 (John Wayland Highway) between Harrisonburg and Broadway were closed Saturday and remained closed this morning.  Water has also been reported on Route 11 just north of Mount Crawford.  Harrisonburg and Rockingham County emergency personnel were kept busy with water rescues early Sunday morning after water rose in a structure threatening to reach the homes electrical system as well as helping with water removal from local business and homes.
