Q101 is competing with our Harrisonburg Radio Group sister stations WSVA, More 96.1 and WSIG to see which of us can raise the most money in support of The Salvation Army of Harrisonburg/Rockingham County.

Every penny raised in our online kettle drive stays right here to help support families in the Shenandoah Valley.  Last year alone, your local Salvation Army assisted 13,526 people–that’s a different person every 39 minutes!  Your generous donations helped to provide Thanksgiving, Christmas and year-round food boxes… winter coats… nearly 18,000 nights of lodging at The Salvation Army homeless shelter…  free clothing… and Christmas toys for children who might not have otherwise gotten anything at all.

This year, The Salvation Army of Harrisonburg/Rockingham County hopes to collect $170,000 through its annual kettle drive to help support its mission to assist local citizens in need.  Would you please help us?
